Guided daytrips

New for the 2018 season are our guided daytrips. These have the same back in time experience as our longer self-drive tours, but the experience is packed in one day, and with the added benefit of a driver/guide. We will take you along old roads in a classic car, and we'll show you Catalunya's best kept secrets and most beautiful scenery, all while traveling in style. A great way to see something more than just the city when visiting Barcelona!

Destinations

As a starting point, we will offer 3 ready-made trips, but we do encourage you to contact us if you want to see something specific. We can always personalise any trip. These trips are loosely based on the daytrips we make ourselves in the weekends, since well over ten years now. In principle all of these trips are entire day trips, where there is all the time in the world to enjoy the scenery and get a feel of the local culture.

Into the mountains - We will pick you up at your hotel in one of our classic cars and leave the city for the day. At first we will take the highway out of the city, the quickest way we can, and later on we will leave the highway to take the old roads. We'll stop for a cup of coffee and continue the trip towards the medieval town of Rupit. After some sightseeing we will find a nice spot for lunch, and afterwards we will drive along the cliffs above the reservoir of Sau towards Vic, on of the more important medieval cities in the area, with Roman roots. Late in the afternoon we will make our way back to Barcelona again.

Wine trip - After picking you up at your hotel in one of our classics we make our way out of the city. Immediately outside of the Ring road we will take a scenic route towards the Penedes wine region. When we arrive there, we'll take a break for a cup of coffee and then  head towards one of the smaller, family owned wineries where we will be shown around the estate, and we'll have the chance to do a tasting. After lunch we will have the opportunity to have another wine tasting, after which we will start to make our way back to the city, if you're still up for it along a very scenic route ;)

Coastal beauty - When we pick you up at your hotel in one of our classic cars we'll be on our way out of the city for the day. At first we will take the highway out of the city, the quickest way we can, and later on we will leave the highway to take the old roads. We'll stop for a cup of coffee and continue the trip towards the Costa Brava, where we will visit some of the nicest old fisherman towns, and if you feel like it we can have a very nice stroll along the sea either before or after lunch. We will continue the tour to visit the area immediately behind the coast, where we'll visit Pals, a very well preserved medieval town, in the middle of an agricultural area famous for cork, pottery and rice. Afterwards we will start to make our way back to the city, first along the old roads, later on we'll take the highway again.
